Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By signing up, using Ariadne, or subscribing to our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Your agreement is formed when you create an account or complete a purchase.

2. Service description

Ariadne provides AI-powered London commute alerts via Telegram. We monitor TfL (Transport for London) data and send you personalised disruption briefings and alternative route suggestions based on the Tube lines and bus routes you choose. The service is offered in beta and may change.

3. User obligations

You agree to:

• Provide accurate account information
• Keep your login credentials and Telegram connection secure
• Use the service only for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Not abuse, reverse-engineer, or overload our systems
• Not resell or redistribute the service

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms.

4. Intellectual property

Ariadne, our branding, logos, and the service content are owned by us. You retain ownership of your data. We do not claim rights over data you provide. You grant us a licence to use your data to provide the service.

5. Payment

We offer a free trial period. After that, you choose a paid plan. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel. Refunds are handled at our discretion and in line with applicable law. Price changes will be notified in advance.

6. Liability

We provide the service "as is". We do not guarantee that alerts are always accurate or complete — TfL data can change quickly. We are not liable for decisions you make based on our alerts.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Termination

You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or for operational reasons. On termination, your access ends; we will not refund unused portions of paid periods except where required by law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms. If you disagree, you can cancel your account.
